Yearbook Nomination [maybe][in progress]
1) One of the strongest elements of advertising is to show what others are doing. People often want to do what is popular. Therefore, we should post pictures in the building of people happily looking at the yearbook.
2) Another attractive way of advertising is through videos. We could make a descriptive video where a group of friends look back at the yearbook and memories pop up to show the memorable value of the yearbook.
3) We can utilize popular sites that students use such as Facebook and Tumblr to promote ads to a large population of students. It could also spread fast with the share and reblog features, respectively.
4) As one of the best schools in the US, it is no doubt that our school website gets a lot of page views from random people. Therefore, we should post a video advertising the purchase of ads and the yearbook on the front page of our school website. It will attract many people that are interested in Tech and what it has to offer to use our school’s yearbook as a basis to advertising.
10) Last but not least, ads should be posted in a variety of places, including exotic ones. For example, bathroom ads will be very effective. The bathroom is probably the only place where every student in Tech has gone to at least once. Also, the bathroom could also have a lot of outside visitors that may be looking to post an ad such as parents on parent teacher conference or open house night. For example, ads could be posted on the inside of the door of stalls so people can have something to look at when they sit down to do their business. Another good idea would be to take down the mirrors and put a yearbook ad there instead. That way, when people come to look at the mirror, they will find themselves awkwardly starring into a yearbook ad and will feel the magic to buy a yearbook.
I was shocked to hear this but I believed him. Usually, I wouldn’t because he says one thing and means another. But this time it was different. This time, I saw it coming. This time, I expected it and it only confirmed my expectations.
I felt that the night was a whole other world. For at night, lies are put aside and amidst the tiredness, everything becomes more intense. For the darker the night, the brighter the star shines.
It seems like nothing ever goes as expected. In the end, we have to realize that anything could happen now. We don’t know the world, nor do we know the people in it. A lot has happened to each and every one of us. And after all that has happened, I think it can be concluded, that there is no such thing as love at first sight.
Everything starts off with friendship, it is after all, how people get to know each other. Slowly, it falls into love. But love rarely comes unopposed. There are often a lot of complications that splits friendship apart. Therefore, it goes into war. And soon, the battlefield is abandoned, leaving behind a hopeless world. And the cycle repeats as people search for a new purpose in life.
